Amazing cast and performance! My 12 years daughter got enthused! It is really worth watching it if you visit London and you wish to offer a first London theater experience to your child! Also not boring at all for adults!

Four Points

The show is really good but the children's/speakers voices are to low, it was really difficult to hear what the children were actually saying they speak quite fast

I had made a mistake when booking the tickets which didn’t come to light until we arrived. The staff were friendly and helpful and found a resolution to my problem quickly. The staff went out of their way to help us Show was amazing too

Honestly this was regrettably the worst musical I've ever seen. I'm an avid visitor to the West End and even Broadway and Matilda disappointed on so many levels. The plot is boring, disjointed and even unnecessarily scary at times (as an adult I wasn't literally scared but young children around me were, and I'd attribute it to the unbalanced sound quality where some special effects were simply too loud and came out of nowhere). I did not find a single memorable song or catchy tune. The performers themselves are excellent - Miss Trunchbull was the best character. There are some cool scenes (swings). But that doesn't provide much when the story itself is boring and minimal representation of Matilda's 'magic' that could have translated so well onto the stage. Our performance also stopped twice due to technical difficulties which added to the hugely disjointed experience.

I struggled to make out the words as they spoke so fast. Fortunately I already knew the story

Although there was a technical issue, it was very well organised and promptly dealt with.. the show itself was absolutely amazing and would recommend viewing, thank you to call the cast and production...

Suzanne Sherratt

Loved the show, very funny but also emotional in places. Tickets were expensive but seats were great as theatre is quite small.
