Don't miss Murder Ballad, the thrilling new musical of love, obsession and murderous desire as it heads to the Arts Theatre this October with West End and Broadway stars Kerry Ellis (Wicked, Cats), Ramin Karimloo (Phantom of the Opera, Les Misérables), Victoria Hamilton-Barritt (In The Heights) and Norman Bowman (Finding Neverland)..
Sara, Tom and Michael are three New Yorkers caught in a secret love triangle that could tear their lives apart. Life has not dealt any of them the cards they wanted, and Sara is stuck in the middle, torn between her downtown past and her uptown future. Is the one that got away really worth risking everything for?
But in the true tradition of all great murder ballads, when songs of love-gone-wrong are sung, blood must be spilled. The question is…by whom?
Fresh from making a critically acclaimed killing off-Broadway, Murder Ballad is a razor-sharp tale of modern relationships, abandoned dreams and treachery in the big city. Written by the award-winning Julia Jordan with music and lyrics by singer-songwriter Juliana Nash, this is a boldly brilliant and explosive new musical that's set to be London's hottest new sensation.

Amazing show. Very intense and superb performance by all involved. A must see!
Absolutely amazing performance. Highly recommend it ??
All four leading characters/actors were truly outstanding ... a very different yet refreshing and exciting kind of musical!
I enjoyed the show for what it was. I did find my mind wondering a couple of times and don't reply rmemeber many (in fact any) of the songs but a fantastic cast and a nice production. I can't give it 3.5 * so have begrudgingly rounded up.
Great show - phenomenal cast - enthralling and engaging from start to end.
We saw the show on 10/06/2016 and really enjoyed. The cast were all quite good and though the staging was very minimalist, you always knew exactly where they were supposed to be. The standout had to be Victoria Hamilton-Barritt as the narrator. Would recommend the show for adults only due to themes and language. Running time is a brisk 90 minutes with no intermission.
Murder Ballad was incredible, we really enjoyed from the start, and the ending really blew us all away. Would 100% recommend. The only disappointment of the evening was to find we were charged £59.50 per ticket though London Theatre Direct when our printed tickets were £49.50. £10 per person is a pretty steep add on for three people.
Excellent production. My only criticism is that the band was too loud and drowned out the lyrics
A very seductive and intense show. The whole cast is amazing! Will definitely be back to see it again.
The show is overwhelming, very physical. The entire cast is amazing.
